Census

Any person (boy or girl) of French nationality must be registered between the date of his 16 years and the end of the 3rd following month.

French people who were not counted during this period can regularize their situation up to the age of 25.

This approach makes it possible to carry out the mandatory citizen census with a view to participation in the Defense and Citizenship Day (JDC).

Your municipality will send your census certificate by post, or in a digitized version in the briefcase of your mon.service-public.fr account.
